Ducat of Jan (Duke of Ziebice–Olesnica; reign 1536–1565), Silesia, 1564. Obverse: bust of Duke Jan with long beard, in rich attire, facing left, within a pearl rim; rim inscription divided by a rosette: IOHAN.DGDVX.MVNST.SLE.OLS.COM.GLA*. Reverse: within a pearl rim, five coats of arms of the Duchy of Ziebice–Olesnica (two Silesian eagles, a chessboard field, diagonal stripes, and a heart field with horizontal stripes; the Silesian eagle and the diagonal/horizontal stripes also represent Zloty Stok and the Podebradowicz family); date 15–64 at left and right of the field. Inscription divided by a rosette between two pearl rims: MONETA.AVREA.NOVA.REICHSTEIN. Coin type: ducat; Duchy of Olesnica (1313–1884), Zloty Stok. Diameter 22.0 mm; weight 3.42 g.
