November Uprising ducat, maker: Karol Gronau (1783–1834), dated 1831, struck in Warsaw (Masovian Voivodeship), Poland. Obverse: knight in armor standing right holding a bunch of arrows in his left hand and a sword in his right; date on sides 18–31; rim inscription divided at top by the head and at bottom by the figure’s legs, beginning of legend with a Polish eagle, inscription: CONCORDIA RES-PARVAE CRESCUNT; burning torch at end of legend. Reverse: framed wreath containing four-line inscription MO. AUR. / REG BELGII / AD LEGEM / IMPERII. Coin; ducat; diameter 21.3 mm; weight 3.48 g.
