Lithuanian grosz on a Polish foot, Sigismund II Augustus (King of Poland; 1544–1572). Polish coin (1567). Obverse: Crowned male bust in armor turned right, inscription in half-circle: .SIGIS - AVG.REX; at bottom in two lines: POLO.MAG./.DVX.LI. Reverse: Lithuanian Pogon turned left, below a crown dividing the date 15 - 67, a monogram of the letters SA and the Columns of Gediminas coat of arms, which divide the rim inscription: MONETA.MAGNI.DVCA.LI. Diameter ca. 22.3–23.0 mm; weight 1.94 g.
