Obverse: Crowned male royal bust in armor turned right, inscription in a half-circle: SIGIS - AVG.REX; at bottom in two lines: .POLO.MAG./.DVX.L. Reverse: Lithuanian Pogon (coat of arms) turned left, below a crown dividing the date 15 - 48; monogram of letters SA and the Columns of Gediminas (coat of arms of Lithuania) dividing the rim inscription: MONETA.MAGNI.DVCA.LITVA. Diameter c. 22.7–23.0 mm; weight c. 2 g.
