Obverse: crowned male royal bust in armor turned right, inscription in a half-circle: SIGIS • AVG.REX; below, horizontally in two lines: POLO • MAG / DVX • L. Reverse: Lithuanian Pogon (coat of arms) turned left, below a crown dividing the date 15–48; monogram SA (tied letters S and A) and the Columns of Gediminas (coat of arms of Lithuania), which divide the rim inscription: MONETA • MAGNI • DVCA • LITVA. Date: 1548. Minted in Vilnius, Grand Duchy of Lithuania (Poland–Lithuania). Coin diameter c. 22.7–23.0 mm; weight c. 2 g.
