Lithuanian grosz of Sigismund I the Old (King of Poland, 1506–1548). Obverse: crowned Polish Eagle; rim with pearl-shaped borders and inscription with trefoils: . SIGISMVNDVS.P.REX.P, D.LIT. Reverse: Pogon (Lithuanian knight) turned left; below year 1535 (inscribed as 1, -35), rim with pearl-shaped borders and inscription beginning with a trefoil and divided at the bottom by a shield with the Column coat of arms: ., TA.MAG. - DVCA.LITVAN. Dated 1536. Grand Duchy of Lithuania (Vilnius). Coin; diameter ca. 25.6–26.0 mm; weight 2.3 g.
