Obverse: crowned male bust in armour turned right, separating the inscription in a half-circle at the top: SIGIS · AVG · REX; at the bottom in two horizontal lines: POLO · MAG / DVX · L. Reverse: Lithuanian Chase turned left; below, under the crown dividing the date 15 - 48, a tied monogram composed of the letters SA and the Columns of Giedyminas coat of arms that divide the rim inscription: MONETA · MAGNI · DVCA · LITVA. Iconography: royal bust, monograms (tied SA), Pogon (Columns of Giedymina). Diameter ˜ 22.8–23.2 mm; weight 1.74 g.
