Obverse: Crowned male bust in armor turned right, separating the inscription in half-rim: SIGIS - AVG.REX; at bottom in two horizontal lines: .POLO.MAG./.DVX.L. Reverse: Lithuanian Chase turned left; below, under the crown dividing the date 15 - 48, a tied monogram composed of the letters SA and the Giedyminus Columns (coat of arms of Lithuania) that divide the inscription in the rim: MONETA.MAGNI.DVCA.LITVA. 1548, Vilnius, Grand Duchy of Lithuania (Poland). Coin; diameter approx. 23.0–23.2 mm; weight 1.85 g.
