Obverse: within a beaded border, a bust of the king in crown and armour, with a ruff and sash tied on the shoulder, interrupting the rim legend: SIGIS.3.D:G.REX.POL.MDLRP. Reverse: within a beaded border two lions supporting a shield with the Gdansk coat of arms, above it a branch with five leaves; mint mark in the rim — a bear's paw; rim legend: MONE.NO.AVR.CIVI.GEDANENSIS.1610.
