Thaler, Koch, Dawid, Ernest Pfahler, publisher; male bust in armour, coats of arms; George William Hohenzollern (Elector of Brandenburg; Duke of Prussia; 1620–1640) — iconography. Obverse: torso facing right in collar and decorative armour girded with a sash, sceptre in right hand, helmet with raised visor and plume in left hand; the figure's head divides the inner border. In the rim, between the borders, an inscription beginning with a cross with plant motifs: GEORG.WILH:D:G:MARCHI:BRAN:SAC:ROM:IMP:ARCHIC:E:EL:D:PRV. Reverse: under the ducal mitre, a nine-field coat of arms with ornaments; on both sides of the shield letters D and K. Below the shield, separated date numerals 16 - , 6. In the rim, between the borders, an inscription separated by the mitre and ending with a heart, with rosettes between words: +ANFANCK+BEDENCK+DAS+ENDE+; 1636. Ducal Prussia (1525–1701), Königsberg. Coin: diameter 44.2 mm, weight 28.68 g, axis 45°.
