3 ducats (half-thaler die, coin in a frame with a lug), coats of arms, male busts in armour, George William Hohenzollern (Elector of Brandenburg; Duke of Prussia; 1620–1640) - iconography. Obv.: torso facing right in collar and decorative armour, girded with a sash, sceptre in right hand, helmet with raised visor and plume in left hand; the figure's head divides the inner border. In the rim, between the borders, an inscription beginning with a rosette: GEORG:WILH:D:G:MAR:BRA:S:R:I:ARCHIC:E:ELEC:D.PRVS. Rev.: under the ducal mitre a nine-field coat of arms escutcheon; on both sides of the shield D - K. In the rim, between the borders, an inscription ending with a heart and divided by a mitre, above which .1.6. - 35. +ANFANCK+BEDENCK+DAS+ENDE. Date: 1635. Place: Ducal Prussia, Königsberg.
