Obverse: bust of the king with a crown, right profile, lace collar, Order of the Golden Fleece on the chest, double rim line and inscription IOAN CAS.DGRPOL.& S.MDLRP. Reverse: Gdansk coat of arms held by two lions, branch surrounded by a wreath above, cartouche at bottom with 1651 dividing the letters GR; inscription MON.AUREA CIVITAT.GEDANENS. Date: 1651. Medium: coin (ducat). Dimensions: diameter 22.8–23 mm; weight 3.47 g.
