Torun donative — 4 ducats by Hans Dawid Lauer (active 1649–1669), 1659. Gold coin (weight 13.85 g) struck as a donative for John II Casimir Vasa (King of Poland, 1609–1672). Obverse: crowned bust of John Casimir facing right within a rim inscription divided at the top by a crown: IOAN:CAS:D:G:REX.POL.ET.SVE.MDLRP. Reverse: view of Torun with the city coat of arms held by angels at top; date and letters at bottom: 16HL59; rim inscription divided at the top by a triangle with an asterisk: *EX AVRO.SOLIDO.CIVIT:THORVNENS:FIERIF:.
