Obverse: crowned male bust in armor turned right, inscription SIGIS-AVG.REX in a half-circle above; at bottom in two lines .POLO.MAG/.DVX.L. Reverse: Lithuanian Pogon (mounted knight) turned left, below a crown dividing the date 15-47, a tied monogram of the letters SA and the Columns of Gediminas dividing the rim inscription MONETA.MAGNI.DVC.LITVA. Dated 1547. Grand Duchy of Lithuania (Vilnius), Poland. Coin; diameter ~22.7–23.0 mm; weight 1.73 g.
