Teutonic quarter-guilder, Albrecht Hohenzollern (prince in Prussia; Grand Master; 1490–1568); publishers Wille, Albrecht (fl. 1520–?) and Plate, Dominik (fl. ?–1527). R8 (rarity). Iconography: Madonna with Child; lily-of-the-valley cross; Madonna on the Crescent. War coins (1520–1521). Obverse: Figure of the Virgin Mary resting on a crescent; on the rim, between pearly borders, an inscription beginning with a shield with an eagle. Reverse: A cross with arms terminating in florences, between them plant motifs; on the rim, between the pearly borders, an inscription, 1521. State of the Teutonic Order (1226–1525), Königsberg. Coin; diameter 30.5 mm; weight 4.20 g; axis 180 degrees.
