In the foreground and along the cave floor a group of sleeping figures in various garments and hats recline or kneel with spears, staffs, and simple tools nearby; some are bent over, others are sprawled, and one raises an arm toward their head. To the right of the central stone a group of standing robed figures watch from a rocky ledge, and beyond them a distant settlement is visible under rays of light. The cave walls and surrounding cliffs are textured with cracks, roots, and sparse leafless trees, and the ground shows scattered stones, a jug, a bucket-like vessel, and a few pieces of cloth or garments. Decorative border lines frame the scene.
