Subject: flowers including daffodils, insects beetles; decoration patterns; botany; pattern book; album; height 14.2 cm, width 10.9 cm., A sepia-toned botanical illustration shows a group of several tall, slender stems topped with different flowers and leaves, rendered in fine dark brown line work against a pale beige background; a few large blooms with layered petals appear at the top and left, a couple of drooping bell-shaped flowers sit to the right, and a smaller cluster of narrow, feathery foliage rises near the center; a long grasslike leaf and a broad veined leaf emerge from lower stems, and a small dark insect-like shape rests near the bottom; the overall colors visible are beige, brown, and darker brown lines.
