To the upper left is an ornate crest with a bird perched atop and an animal depicted inside a shield, and to the upper right a bird is perched on the flag near folds of fabric. At the lower left a rocky outcrop and a small carved tablet rest among scattered stones, and at the lower right there is a grouping of bushes and a distant view of a town with clustered buildings. The image is rendered in shades of black, gray, and off-white with areas of fine line shading and slight brownish age spots.
