Large helmet with holes at the rim from 1100, shown at the International Exhibition in Paris in 1867. Drawing on paper, glued across the entire surface onto a cardboard of similar dimensions, which was glued across the upper edge onto a larger cardboard together with DI 32455/2. Drawing, 1867, Paris. Maker/draughtsman: Alexander Lesser 1814–1884., A painted depiction of a helmet rendered in shades of gray with darker gray shading and subtle brown tones along its lower interior and edges, showing a rounded dome with a raised crest on top and scalloped front openings edged with decorative perforations, set against a beige background framed by a thin darker border and a wider tan mounting border.
