The man is shown in profile from behind, wearing a red hat with a white plume and a golden circular ornament, a long brown beard, a high collar with dark vertical stripes, and a long golden-yellow cloak with darker vertical lines and a dark red trim near the hem. He holds one hand up, palm partially open. The woman faces him and holds a pale shield in front of her decorated with a faint relief and golden stylized elements; she has light skin, brown hair pulled back, and a small crown or jeweled band on her head. She wears a dress with teal-green sleeves, gold and brown decorative bands on the shoulders and sleeves, and a square neckline with gold trim. The overall color palette includes beige, golden-yellow, red, teal-green, brown, and pale skin tones.
