Her head is covered by a fitted cap with a flat top and subtle decoration, and her face is rendered with a neutral expression and short hair visible at the forehead. The drawing is framed by a double-lined rectangular border and mounted on a larger sheet with uneven edges; the paper shows aged beige and cream tones with a few darker stains and small spots. Visible colors in the image include black lines of the drawing, beige and cream of the paper, and a muted red used for the border and some markings.
