In the foreground two central figures face each other and hold hands, one wearing a hooded garment and the other with hair pulled back and an exposed neck; their garments have many folds and layered drapery. To the left a bearded figure stands partly behind them, leaning forward with a hand near his chest and draped clothing that falls to bare feet. To the right a seated or reclining figure looks toward the central pair, also wrapped in loose fabric. The image uses shades of black, gray, and off-white.
