Polish artist; Polish pastel., A framed painting showing a garden scene with a large tree in the background, dark brown and muted green trunk and branches, and a canopy of dark green and yellowish leaves. In front of the tree is a low stone wall in gray and beige tones that curves around a pond filled with dark water and many green lily pads. Several water lilies and small flowers in pale blue, light pink, and white float among the pads. Near the pond edge there are clusters of tall, slender plants with green leaves and red and orange blossoms. The ground and surrounding paths show muted shades of gray, brown, and soft peach, while distant foliage includes tones of light yellow-green and olive. The painting is set within an ornate gold frame.
