The object has a tall, decorative stem and base in metallic gold tones with highlights of lighter gold and pale reflections, and a central ornamental section with radiating spiky elements also in gold. There are small accents of blue and green on the central decoration and hints of red and purple in the drapery and subtle reflections. The background is a deep, nearly black brown with faint areas of dark red and muted purple, and the frame is wood-toned brown with a thin inner gold trim.
