Naked Mars striding right, holding a spear in his right hand and a tropaion resting on his left shoulder; pearl rim. Dated 226. Roman Empire 27 BC–476. Mint: Rome. Coin; diameter 18.0–19.0 mm; weight 3.10 g., A round, worn coin with a raised relief of a human figure standing and holding a long object, surrounded by a textured border; the coin shows uneven surfaces and worn edges with small chips and scratches. The visible colors are shades of gray, dark gray, and lighter silver-gray, with highlights and shadows creating contrast across the relief. The background around the coin is plain white.
