Issue attributed to Marcus Aurelius 121–180; Roman emperor 161–180. Roman Imperial coin, struck Rome, ca. 161–176. Silver denarius; diameter 17.5 mm, weight 3.25 g, axis 180°. Iconography: Faustina II; Juno; scepters; peacocks; paterae., A circular metallic coin with a raised profile of a person facing right, showing detailed hair pulled back and draped clothing; the coin surface is silver-gray with areas of lighter and darker gray indicating wear and texture, and the raised border and surrounding decorative elements are visible in similar silver-gray tones.
