Denarius subaerate of Faustina the Younger ca. 130–176; Roman empress 161–176; Augusta 147–161. Obverse: Draped bust of Faustina II facing right, legend FAVSTINAE AVG - PII AVG FIL. Reverse: Venus standing left, holding an apple in her outstretched right hand and a rudder in her left hand, a dolphin wrapped around the rudder, legend V E - NVS. Iconography: Roman deities, apples, dolphins, rudders, Venus; Faustina the Younger iconography. Roman Empire, Rome; coin. Diameter 17.0–18.0 mm, weight 2.65 g, axis 180°., A worn circular metallic object with an irregular edge, shown against a white background, featuring a raised profile of a person in side view with visible facial contours and hair styled back; the surface has scratches, dents, and areas of tarnish with darker and lighter silver-gray tones; a ring of raised decorative marks surrounds the central portrait, and there are a few small cracks and chips along the rim.
