Obverse: Bust of Faustina I in drapery facing right, legend DIVA FAV•STINA around. Reverse: Vesta standing left, holding a patera in her outstretched right hand above an altar and a long torch in her left; legend CONSE•CRATIO around, mint mark in fields. After 141 CE, Rome; Roman Empire. Coin, diameter 26.5–27.5 mm, weight 9.85 g, axis 180°., A round dark brown to almost black coin-like object with a worn surface, showing a raised central figure in profile holding a long vertical staff and wearing draped clothing; the edges are slightly irregular and there are traces of lighter brown highlights on raised areas, with several shallow indentations and a faint textured rim around the perimeter.
