Denarius of Antoninus Pius 86–161; Roman emperor 138–161, struck 139. Obverse: head of Antoninus Pius uncovered to the right, legend ANTONINVS·AVG·PIVS·PP. Reverse: Felicitas standing to the left, holding a caduceus in her outstretched right hand and a cornucopia in her left, legend TR·PO·T·COS·II. Iconography: caduceus, personifications, Felicitas; cornucopia. Roman Empire; Rome mint. Coin, diameter ~17–18 mm, weight 2.86 g, axis 180°., A round metal coin with a worn surface showing a raised profile of a man facing right, surrounded by raised decorative rim and worn raised markings; the coin displays areas of grayish silver metal with patches of darker gray and small greenish discoloration, and a few brownish spots.
