Reverse: Minerva standing left, in her outstretched right hand she holds Victoria, in her lowered left hand she holds a spear with the head pointing upwards and a shield resting on the ground; inscription AVG PIVS PM TR - P COS DES II. Date: 138. Place of origin: Rome, Roman Empire. Medium: coin; diameter 16.0–18.0 mm; weight 2.81 g; axis 180°. Subjects/iconography: Minerva, Victoria, spears, shields; ancient deities; issuer: Antoninus Pius., A round metallic object with a worn, uneven surface showing a raised, central figure of a standing person holding an object in one hand and a draped cloth in the other, surrounded by a ring of low-relief markings; the metal appears dark gray with areas of lighter gray highlights and patches of brownish discoloration, and the edges are irregular and slightly damaged.
