Reverse: Minerva standing left, in her outstretched right hand she holds Victoria, in her lowered left hand she holds a spear with the head pointing upwards and a shield resting on the ground; legend AVG PIVS PM T RP COS DES II. Iconography: Minerva, Victoria, spears, shields, ancient deities. Date: 138. Place of origin: Rome, Roman Empire. Object type: coin denarius. Dimensions: diameter 17.0–17.5 mm; weight 3.44 g; axis 180°., A circular metal coin photographed against a white background showing a worn raised relief of a standing human figure wearing a draped garment and helmet, holding a long vertical staff in one hand and a small object in the other; the coin surface appears scratched and weathered with areas of darker and lighter gray, small patches of brown and green discoloration, and a slightly irregular rim.
