Reverse: Pietas stands left before an altar, making an offering with his right hand and holding a container with perfumes in his left; legend TRIB POT COS DES II, scene labeled PIETAS. 138 CE, Roman Empire, Rome. Coin; diameter 25.5–26.0 mm, weight 14.16 g, axis 165°., A round, worn metal coin with a dark brown surface and patches of green corrosion shows the faint raised outline of a robed standing figure facing forward with an outstretched arm and a smaller pedestal or object beside them; the coin edge is irregular with a small notch and a dotted border along part of the rim, and the relief details include several raised, weathered shapes around the figure and faint traces of lettering that are not described.
