Obverse: Head of Antoninus Pius bare, to right, legend IMP T AEL CAES - ANTONINVS. Reverse: Concordia standing left, right hand outstretched holding a patera, left hand resting on a slender column and holding a double cornucopia; legends include TRIB - POT COS. Iconography: Concordia, columns, personifications, pateras, cornucopias; references to Hadrian and Antoninus Pius. Date: 138. Place of origin: Rome, Roman Empire. Object: coin denarius. Dimensions: diameter 16.0–16.5 mm, weight 3.37 g, axis 180°., A circular metallic coin with a worn surface showing a raised human figure standing in profile, draped in a long garment and holding an object in one hand while another object stands beside them; the coin surface is textured with scratches and shallow relief, with a rim around the edge. The visible colors are silver-gray with darker gray patina and small areas of brownish discoloration.
