Obverse: head of Antoninus Pius without a cap to the right, legend IMP T AEL CAES - ANTONINVS; Reverse: Minerva stands left, in her outstretched right hand she holds Victoria, in her lowered left hand she holds a spear with the head upwards and a shield resting on the ground, legend TRIB - POT COS. Issued under Hadrian emperor 117–138 and Antoninus Pius emperor 138–161; caesar 138. Roman, Rome. Coin; diameter 16.0–17.0 mm; weight 3.06 g; axis 165°., A worn round metallic object with an irregular edge depicting a raised profile of a person's head facing right; the head shows short textured hair, a prominent nose, and a defined jaw and neck. The surface is rough and pitted with areas of wear and small scratches. The object has a metallic gray color with darker gray shadows and some lighter gray highlights on raised areas. The background is plain and white, contrasting with the coin-like object.
