Reverse: PONTIFMAXTRPIIIICOSPP — Emperor in military attire standing facing left, holding a ball in his right hand and a spear with the point down in his left hand, SC on both sides, pearl rim. Date: 224. Place of origin: Rome, Roman Empire 27 BC–476. Object: coin sestertius. Dimensions: diameter 31.0–33.0 mm; weight 27.25 g., A round, worn coin with a dark brown and black patina showing a raised, weathered relief of a standing human figure holding a rounded object in one hand and a long staff or spear in the other, surrounded by faint raised edging and weathered surface texture with some lighter brown and greenish spots.
