Rev.: PONTIFMAXTRPIIIICOSPP — Emperor in military attire standing facing left, holding a ball in his right hand and a spear with the point down in his left hand; SC on both sides; pearl rim. 224 CE. Roman Empire; Rome. Coin; diameter 31.0–33.0 mm; weight 27.25 g., A round, dark brown and black coin with a worn, textured surface showing the raised profile of a person's head facing right; the profile has visible features like hair, forehead, nose, lips, and chin. The coin edge appears irregular and slightly chipped in places, with areas of lighter brown and greenish patina scattered across the surface, and faint raised borders around the rim. The overall colors visible are dark brown, black, lighter brown, and hints of green.
