Securitas seated left, holding a sceptre in his right hand, supporting his head with his left hand, left elbow resting on the back of the throne; on the left a burning altar; pearl rim. Date: 223. Roman Empire. Rome. Coin; diameter 28.5–30.0 mm; weight 20.12 g., A round, worn metal coin with a raised profile of a person's head facing right, showing short hair and a laurel-like band; the coin surface is mottled with dark brown, greenish, and coppery tones and has an uneven, slightly irregular edge.
