Salus seated facing left, holding a patera in her right hand feeding a snake, left hand resting on a backrest; pearl rim. 222–228 CE; Roman Empire; struck in Rome. Coin; diameter 17.0–19.5 mm; weight 3.00 g., A worn circular metallic object with a dark gray and silver patina sits against a white background, showing an engraved seated figure in profile on one face; the figure appears draped in flowing garments and is seated on a simple chair or throne with visible folds and lines suggesting fabric, and there is a suggestion of raised edging around the object's perimeter.
