Reverse: Venus seated on a throne facing left, holding an apple in her right hand and a scepter in her left; a child stands at her feet with outstretched arms, pearl border; inscription VENVSCAE L ESTIS. Issuer: Julia Soaemias 180–222. Rome, 218–222. Coin; diameter 19.0 mm, weight 3.20 g., A worn circular metallic coin with a profile of a person's head facing right in the center; the head shows short textured hair and facial features in low relief, and the surrounding area of the coin has raised edging and an irregular outer rim. The coin's surface shows dark gray, silver, and brown tones with areas of lighter silver highlights and darker shadowed patches, and the edge appears slightly chipped and uneven.
