Denarius, Elagabalus reigned 218–222. Obverse: IVLIAMAESAAVG — Draped bust of Julia Maesa facing right, pearl border. Reverse: PVDICITIA — Veiled Pudicitia sits on a throne facing left, raising the hem of her veil with her right hand, holding a scepter in her left, pearl border. Date: 218–223. Place of origin: Rome. Medium: coin. Diameter: 18.5 mm. Weight: 3.05 g., A round metallic coin with a worn silver-gray surface showing a raised profile of a person facing right, with visible hair details and a decorative element at the back of the head, surrounded by a slightly raised rim and a ring of small bead-like indentations near the edge; the coin shows areas of darker gray and some subtle brownish tarnish, with highlights of lighter silver on the raised features.
