Trojak coin by Maciej Schilling, co-creator Jost Ludwik Decjusz fl. 1528–1535, 1545. Obverse: male bust in armour in profile facing right; short hair, long pointed beard with sideburns; rim inscription beginning with a trefoil: -ALBER DG MAR BRAN DVX PRVSS; pearl border and plant motifs between words. Reverse: six-line inscription in the pearl border: -III-/.GROSS:AR:/.TRIPLEX./.ALBER:DVC./.PRVSSIE./-I545-; denomination and date between trefoil marks. Ducal Prussia 1525–1701, Königsberg mint. Coin; diameter 21.2 mm, weight 2.70 g, axis 140°., A circular metallic coin with a worn, textured surface showing raised, carved designs and markings across its face; the coin appears mostly silver-gray with darker gray recesses and subtle areas of lighter reflective silver on the raised portions; the edge shows slight irregularities and a narrow rim; overall the coin surface displays scratches, small pits, and scuffs with a patina that creates contrasting light and dark gray tones.
