Trojak by Schilling, Maciej mintmaster and co-creator Decjusz, Jost Ludwik fl. 1528–1535, mint manager. Obverse: male bust in armour in profile facing right; short hair, long beard with sideburns; rim inscription beginning with a trefoil: -ALBER DG MAR BRAN DVX PRVS; pearl border, plant motifs between words. Reverse: six-line inscription in the pearl border: -III-/.GROSS:AR:/.TRIPLEX./.ALBER:DVC./.PRVSSIE./-I543-; denomination and date between trefoil marks. Dated 1543, Ducal Prussia 1525–1701, Königsberg mint. Coin; diameter 21.2 mm, weight 2.55 g, axis 170°., A round metallic object with a worn surface and a raised rim, showing engraved and embossed markings across its face; the object appears in shades of gray and silver with darker recessed areas and lighter highlights on raised details, and the background is white.
