Trojak, Decius, Jost Ludwik fl. 1528–1535 co-creator, Straub Strawb, Heinrich mintmaster / publisher. Albrecht Hohenzollern Prince of Prussia; 1490–1568 — iconography: trefoils, male busts in armour. Obverse: male bust in armour in profile turned right; short hair, long beard with sideburns. In the rim an inscription beginning with a trefoil: -ALBER DG MAR BRAN DVX PRVSS; pearl border, plant motifs between the words. Reverse: in the pearl border an inscription in six lines: -III-.GROSS:AR:/.TRIPLEX./.ALBER:DVC./.PRVSSIE./-I54Z-; the denomination and date are between trefoil marks. 1542. Ducal Prussia 1525–1701, Königsberg mint. Coin; diameter 20.3 mm, weight 2.37 g, axis 150°., A circular metallic coin with a raised profile of a bearded man facing right, showing detailed hair, ear, eye, nose, and a long textured beard; the man appears to wear a garment with layered collars. The coin surface is silver-gray with darker gray recessed areas and lighter gray highlights on raised sections. There is a raised rim around the edge and a ring of raised decorative markings and shapes along the perimeter. The background outside the coin is white.
