Trojak three-groschen coin by Schilling, Maciej mintmaster and co-creator Decjusz, Jost Ludwik fl. 1528–1535 mint manager. Obverse: male bust in armour in profile to right; short hair, long beard with sideburns; rim inscription beginning with a trefoil: -ALBER DG MAR BRAN DVX PRVSS; pearl border, plant motifs between words. Reverse: six-line inscription in pearl border: -III-.GROSS:AR:/.TRIPLEX./.ALBER:DVC./.PRVSSIE./-I54I- with denomination and date between trefoil marks. 1541. Ducal Prussia 1525–1701, Königsberg mint. Coin; diameter 22.6 mm, weight 2.72 g, axis 50°., A round metallic coin with a raised profile of a bearded man facing right; the man has short hair, a prominent ear, a detailed beard, and visible clothing or armor at the neck. The coin surface shows engraved decorative edging and raised lettering around the perimeter, with textured and worn areas on its face. The colors visible are silvery gray tones with darker gray shading and slight brownish or tarnished hints.
