Original text from the 15th century; object dated 19th century, Tibet. Graphics, width 24.6 cm, height 8.0 cm, A rectangular aged parchment or paper sheet lies flat with a worn, darker border around its edges and a crease across the middle, showing a top half and bottom half each framed by a thin dark rectangular border. Within each framed area there are several horizontal rows of dense dark hand-drawn markings that form repetitive patterned strokes and shapes, appearing in dark brown to black ink. The sheet surface shows an overall yellowed beige tone with patches of browning and darker discoloration, and there are smudges and spots of darker brown and gray around the margins and near the central crease. The corners and edges are rounded and frayed, with a few small tears and abrasions visible, and the background behind the sheet is a uniform dark brown color.
