Buddhist commentary on the prayer of praise in honor of the names of the bodhisattva Manjushri Tib. 'jam dpal dbyang by Ga Rabjampa Kunga Yeshe Tib. sga rab 'byams pa kun dga' ye shes. The original text comes from the 15th century; this object is 19th century, Tibet. Graphics, width 24.6 cm, height 8.0 cm., An open, aged manuscript page fills the image, showing two rectangular blocks of densely written script separated by a horizontal division. The page surface is a weathered beige with areas of darker brown aging and edge wear, and the ink for the script appears dark brown to black. A few faint smudges and spots are visible on the paper, and the margins show roughened texture and darker brown discoloration. The top and bottom text blocks are framed by hand-drawn rectangular borders in dark ink, and there is a narrow vertical decorative element at the left side of the lower block. The background surrounding the manuscript is a deep, muted brown.
