The original prayer text by master Raga Asja Tib. ra ga a syas, the first tulku of the Karma Chagme Tib. kar ma chags med reincarnation lineage, dates from the 17th century. 19th century, Tibet; graphic; height 30.5 cm, width 8.6 cm., An open, aged manuscript page laid flat on a dark background showing two horizontal rectangular blocks each containing rows of hand-drawn text-like marks; the paper is yellowed beige with darker beige and brown aging spots and smudges, and the inked marks are a faded dark gray to black. The rectangles are outlined with thin double-lined borders that are uneven and hand-drawn, and there are scattered smudges and speckles of dark gray around the edges and within the margins. The sheet shows creases and slight tears at the corners, with rounded and worn edges that are darker where handled. The overall appearance includes variations in beige, cream, brown, dark gray, and black tones, with the darker background visible around the manuscript.
