The top and bottom panels are each framed by thin double-line borders and contain several dense rows of evenly spaced handwritten characters; there are faint creases and folds running horizontally across the center where the paper may have been folded, and light wear and small dark spots along the outer margins. The corners of the sheet are slightly rounded and worn, with a few darker scuffed areas, and the overall surface shows subtle variations in tone from pale cream to warm beige with scattered grayish smudging.
