The original prayer text by master Raga Asja Tib. ra ga a syas, the first tulku of the Karma Chagme Tib. kar ma chags med reincarnation lineage, dates from the 17th century. 19th century, Tibet, graphic, height 30.5 cm, width 8.6 cm, A horizontally oriented aged paper or parchment sheet set against a dark background, showing two rectangular panels separated by a horizontal fold; the sheet is off-white to yellowed with uneven discoloration and darker brown stains along the left edge and near the fold, and there are small spots and smudges scattered across the surface; each panel is framed by thin hand-drawn borders in a dark gray or black ink, and within the panels are dense rows of uniform short dark gray markings forming lines across the width; the left and right outer margins show additional vertical darker smudging and wear, and the corners are slightly rounded with crease marks and a few small tears; overall tones include off-white, yellowed beige, dark gray or black ink, brown stains, and subtle tan variations.
