The original prayer text by master Raga Asja Tib. ra ga a syas, the first tulku of the Karma Chagme Tib. kar ma chags med reincarnation lineage, dates from the 17th century. 19th century, Tibet; graphic, height 30.5 cm, width 8.6 cm., A worn, rectangular double-page spread with a dark background showing an aged, yellowed paper surface. The pages contain two horizontal framed blocks, one above the other, each filled with dense handwritten script that appears in neat, linear rows. The paper shows signs of wear with dark smudges and uneven discoloration along the edges and spine, small tears and creases at the corners, and a few spots of darker staining. The frames around the script are drawn in a darker ink and show slight irregularities. The overall visible colors are cream and pale yellow of the paper, dark brown to black of the ink and smudges, and a deep charcoal background.
